Greetings!

“Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is a progress, working together is success”.

The Executive and Legislative chambers convene together for a common purpose to formulate an Executive-Legislative Agenda-ELA that would serve as the blueprint in the implementation of various developments in the Municipality of Carmen for 2016-2019. As the Local Chief Executive of this Municipality, I am mandated by the Carmenians to uphold the legacy of development left to us by my predecessor.

The banner “IPADAYON” is my priority thrust.

My three-year development plans are aligned with the 10-point agenda of our President Rodrigo R. Duterte especially on peace and order, war against drugs and criminality and likewise anchored on the thrusts and programs of BEST PEOPLE as the agenda of Hon. Gov. Anthony Rafael G. del Rosario. Most importantly, my development plans are grounded on SERBISYO UNA, the primary thrusts and programs of our beloved Congressman, Hon. Antonio “Tony Boy” Floirendo, Jr. where the contents and details of that program helps address the social services, infrastructure, health needs, education and other programs for our needy Carmenians especially the Alang sa Kabus Alleviation Program.

The Executive Department has the long list of what to undertake for the three (3) next years. This can only be realized if we shall always be united and work as a team.

The 2016-2019 Executive-Legislative or ELA will chart the direction and destiny of our beloved Municipality of Carmen. It will serve as our guide in realizing our dream, our shared, our co-owned and co-created vision, making the Municipality of Carmen More Beautiful, More Progressive and eventually a City by 2020.

If we hold on together and work for the common good, we can really make some footprints in the history of the Municipality of Carmen and come up victorious.

Together, let’s make a difference. God bless to all of us. To God be the Glory.

VIRGINIA J. PERANDOS, Ed. D
Municipal Mayor
